Using an air fryer is one of the easiest, quickest, and tastiest ways we know to make sweetpotato fries. And our recipe makes them even better, thanks to a secret ingredient—cornstarch. Air Fryer Sweetpotato Fries

Serves 3 to 4

Ingredients:

4 teaspoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt, plus more for sprinkling

1 pound orange- or yellow/white-fleshed sweetpotatoes, or a combination, cut into 1/4-inch sticks

2 tablespoons olive oil

One or more Three Crazy-Good, Super-Easy Dipping Sauces for Sweetpotato Fries (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch, paprika, and salt. In a large bowl, toss the sweetpotatoes and olive oil. Add the corn starch mixture and toss to evenly coat. Transfer to the air fryer basket and cook for 6 minutes.

  3. Toss the sweetpotatoes and continue to cook for until the sweetpotatoes are browned and tender, 6 to 7 minutes.

  4. Sprinkle with more salt and serve with the dipping sauce, if using.
